What this project was
Ekyamm connects patients with psychiatrists and therapists for mental healthcare. The core design challenge was emotional as much as functional: booking a first appointment with a therapist is a higher-stakes, higher-anxiety action than most consumer bookings, and the flow needed to feel calm and trustworthy at every step.
- Designed onboarding to reduce the anxiety and friction typically associated with seeking mental healthcare for the first time.
- Simplified appointment booking into a clear, low-pressure flow from provider discovery to confirmed consultation.
- Considered consultation flows end-to-end, not just booking, so the experience stayed coherent before and after the appointment.
