What this project was
Simpli HR is an HRMS platform used by HR professionals to manage people workflows across desktop and mobile. The existing navigation had grown organically feature-by-feature, which meant common tasks were often buried several levels deep. I redesigned the information hierarchy around how HR teams actually work day-to-day.
- Audited existing navigation and information architecture against real HR workflows to find where structure and mental model diverged.
- Restructured navigation and hierarchy so frequent tasks moved from buried sub-menus to primary surfaces.
- Designed consistently across desktop and mobile, recognizing HR admins split their work across both.
